Some Wine Assistance in the Final Countdown to Thanksgiving – Cheers!

Hello everyone!

We’re publishing a day ahead of Thirsty Thursday because this week, it coincides with the Thanksgiving holiday.  Also, to give you one last chance to look for these great wine pairings if your holiday eve shopping trap line takes you into Costco, Trader Joe’s – or both.

In our home, we have started cooking up a storm.  Tonight is the pie bake off where we keep it simple and order in pizza from our favorite pie slinger.  I picked up a few special bottles of vino from my local fine wine merchant earlier in the day.

We are recapping the Thanksgiving wines we featured over the past three Thursdays, just in case you need an assist here in the final hours of preparation.

Simply click on any of the following links to refresh your memory.

Our white wine selections:

2019 Chateau Ste. Michelle Gewurtztraminer, Columbia Valley, Washington ($7.99 @Trader Joe's, California) 2020 Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc + Viognier,  Napa, California ($11.99 @Trader Joe's, California)

Our red wine selections:

Bottle and glass of 2020 Ocean View Pinot Noir, and 2019 Opolo Summit Creak Vineyard Zinfandel

Our dessert wine selection:

Glass and bottle of Graham's 10 Year Tawny Port, $22.99 @ Costco, California – Item #185916

And if You Need More Wine Picks from Costco – or Trader Joe’s…

Prepare by grazing our most recent reviews of Costco wines here in our Lucky 13 list.

Or by perusing our Trader Joe’s equivalent – you can find our Lucky 13 list of TJ’s wine here.

From our Maison to yours, best wishes for a restful and healthful celebration of abundance this week.

Cheers!
